A case of a female patient in the fifth decade of life suffering from quadrilateral weakness and increased neurological reflexes due to her ossification or calcification of the dura mater against the third and fourth cervical vertebrae, and multiple cervical herniated discs as shown on CT and MRI scans.
A successful surgery was performed to expand the cervical nerve canal and stabilize the cervical vertebrae from the back, which resulted in decompression of the spinal cord in the cervical vertebrae, as shown by CT scans and MRI after surgery, and the patient recovered.
